How do you know if you are ready?

If you can answer "Yes" to these initial questions, you are probably ready for project management software.

• Are you a service provider with more than 15 employees and do you have at least 10 projects that are processed in parallel?
• Do you need to search for time sheets or documents of regular employees and freelancers working on a project at the end of the month in order to prepare entries for the month-end closing and to issue invoices to the customer?
• Do project managers get information on received payments or do they have to ask for payments? Are many further enquiries necessary?
• Do different people of your company use different software applications to record data?
• Does it take a long time or is it complicated to account for travel expenses because expenses are pre-recorded in Excel or other software applications, customer invoices are created manually and data is posted manually to the accounting department?
• Does the controlling and accounting personnel deal with intensive and hard work?
• Does it take too long to analyse business and project data and proved this process to be too error-prone?
