You will be able to access data in SAP Business One and ProjectManagement with Smartphone in summer 2010 including time recording, master data access and recording of support tickets. Supported devices are amongst others IPhone, IPod touch, Android and Nokia Smartphones. This allows you, for example, to check at the airport the address of a customer or to view the latest support ticket.

The Web Client of ProjectManagement enables you not only to capture but also to access customer, employee and project data. Your benefit: The Web Client - and thus the option to record and determine data - is always available independent of location and time.

They provide managers on-demand access to critical real-time information and help them to better focus on relationships and transactions that are critical. ProjectManagement based on SAP® Business One provides digital dashboards. The software enables users, for example, at the touch of a button to visualize the employees' real utilization compared with the planned capacity. This enables managers to make more profitable decisions, grow business and stay ahead of the competition.
ProjectManagement based on SAP Business One allows for the creation of different planning versions. Planning versions created by the user continue to exist and can be updated and compared depending on the projects's status. Different planning methods (e.g. Gantt Planning, Periodic Planning) allow th user to update the project. The different planning types give project managers a multidimensional view of their projects.
Different resources are available for planning: employees, resource pools, items or travel expenses. In addition, the user is able to work with hierarchical phase structures, to create an overall planning or a detailed day planning and, depending on his knowledge, to further develop these planning versions.
ProjectManagement assists the user in creating detailed travel expenses, normally a time-consuming process for the accounting department. Travel expenses are recorded in the Web Client or in the standard system by the employees or by specifically authorized users. Costs can either be charged to the customer or can only be accounted for internally by the employees at the push of a button. This procedure reduces the time effort in the accounting department considerably.
ProjectManagement supports powerful controlling and reporting tools that are very much appreciated by our
customers. The Breakeven Analysis, the Degree of Completion report or the Redidual Volume report ensure, amongst others, access to critical, up-to-the-minute information. Authorized users can select any report and personalize the layout for printing.
